One day while on a whirl-wind trip of Italy, Amanda decided to share her love of all things scroggin with the world. She had all these new flavour ideas bouncing around in her head - scroggin a la Italy, tropical scroggin... .... ... the list was endless. The competition
Competition was heating up, with Amanda's local supermarket putting their 'Sunshine Mix' on special this week for only $2.98! (Amanda usually shunned the supermarket in favour of shopping at the local markets, which were well known for their quality handmade breads, cheeses and pastas).
But Amanda didn't lower her prices to match, she was too smart for that. Instead, learning from her popular 'WIN a backpack' promotion, she held a competition to win the chance to create your own scroggin flavour! As part of this "Do Us A Flavour" promotion the winner could see their own flavour go into production and available to buy in shops throughout NZ!

Shops galore!
Amanda couldn't believe it - there were lines of people spilling out the door of Amanda's scroggin shop! People were traveling from all over the city to visit her shop, which gave her an idea....

The scroggin shop!
Amanda's soon realised her stand was going so well, demand so high for her special flavours of scroggin, that it was time to open a scroggin shop in the middle of town. She had a new logo made, and put a bright orange sign outside her shop. People from all over town started to talk about Amanda's scroggin - it was a hit!
The scroggin stall
Amanda's first scroggin stall was a marvel. It had pre-made packets of scroggin and bowls brimming with nuts and raisins - it was all she dreamed it would be. And it was located right beside a popular walking track! Amanda soon realised she was on to something....
